I have no idea why some people think that you’re not right for the roles because I could not disagree more. And Ashley, your hair is fantastic.

Jackson–You have mastered the role of Jasper, which I think is pretty difficult. His dark past from the vampire wars, the maturity he’s gained from living since the Civil War, and the struggle between a life of human blood and going “vegetarian” (all just for Alice)–you have shown all of these qualities through your acting.

When I heard about the movie, I had images in my head, of course, of what my two favorite characters would look like. When I saw you with your hair cut, I just saw Alice. I mean, you literally are perfect for the part, and from what I’ve seen in interviews, you are truly an AMAZING person. I mean, haha, I know it may seem weird, but I remember you on Disney 411, and I began looking into you and your projects when I saw you act in The O.C. and you have become one of my heroes. So many people are so enthralled with Edward and Bella, I mean, it felt good to be able to have Alice and Jasper as my favorites. It was so nice to give people a different perspective. When I heard about the movie, obviously they were the first characters I was interested in. Already seeing you before, when I saw that you were going to play the part of Jasper, I was absolutely THRILLED. I mean, really, Ashley and you portray them so perfectly from the way I do in my mind. I truthfully could not imagine anyone more perfect than you to play Jasper. I do not care what anyone else says. You are and amazing actor, and really, like I said, if I could meet or talk to anyone, it would be you, just to get to know you, because you seemed so laid back and simply nice. Alice is my favorite character by far because I love her and relate to her. She has every reason to be standoffish and rude but yet she is lovable and friendly. One giant ball of energy and happiness, a lot like me, I’m told. I think that she was the one character that I worried most about the casting, and from what I’ve seen I think that Ashley is PERFECT. Thank you for bringing Alice to life and for not disappointing. I can’t wait to see more.

Starting from the beginning:

I first saw the promo pics a couple months ago, and I was skeptical. I was not sure of Jackson at all. That picture just didn’t do it for me, what I thought Jasper should be. And the same for Ashley, too.

But then I began surfing more, and seeing more pictures, and especially more videos. And I’ve gotta say, I was completely wrong. Those first promo pictures do all of the Cullens absolutely NO justice whatsoever. I am absolutely positive now that Jackson is THE PERFECT Jasper. I was torn on Jasper, as a character, but Jackson has made me fall in love with him. I am in love with Jasper Hale. Well, more like Jackson Rathbone. Hah. He’s AMAZING!

And Ashley? Holy snap! She’s also the one and ONLY Alice. There can be no other. Rachael Leigh Cook would not have done Alice justice. Honestly.

Seeing the videos of the behind the scenes of Jackson and Ashley together has made the connection of the two and the absolute uncanny ability to be these characters unbelievably flawless. I love them.

I AM SO PROUD OF YOU TWO. YOU’RE AMAZING AND I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE HOW WELL YOU DID IN THE FILM. I KNOW IT’S GOING TO BE GREAT, SINCE YOU ARE ALICE AND JASPER, WITHOUT A DOUBT!

Having Ashley be Alice is amazing. I’m an aspiring actress and if I had the choice I would not chose Bella, I’d chose Alice. Ashley’s on screen energy is amazing. she’s such a great actress and the only one who could pull it off. Infact, her face itself is the only face for Alice.

Jackson I love, Jasper not so much. I’ve never really loved Jasper (and Rosalie and Jake) as much as the rest of the characters. Jackson does a spectacular job as Jasper. I love his guitar.

Together they jsut might make one of the best on scene couples. They;ve done a wonderful job. No one else could do it like them.

For many of us, Twilight is our baby. Alice is the best friend we never had, Jasper is that brother who understands everything we feel and underestimates himself. I think I speak for all of us in saying that we’re glad we’ve left our baby in your hands.
