The Argument: (A short story)
“No,” I evenly stated to my friend, Tianna, a few minutes after reading a blog post on the Lexicon. “You are not allowed to freak out.” She pouted. “No, Tianna. Do you know why?”
She played dumb. “Why?”
I rolled my eyes at her. “Because. Because even though it says right here-“ I jabbed my thumb at the screen “- that Twilight is becoming a movie, it doesn’t mean that it’s good! Who says that they’re going to cast it right? How are they going to get seven inhumanly beautiful actors of the right age that can portray these characters as what we know from the book?” Tianna tried to speak, but I plowed on. “They can’t. They can’t get Edward, Bella, Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, Rosalie, Jasper, or Alice. It won’t work. They’re too perfect. They’d have to be the Cullens themselves. I know it’s blasphemous, but the Cullens don’t exist.” Tianna tried to speak again, and again I cut her off. “No. No discussions. That’s final. Now go away and let me sulk.”
The truth was, I was exceedingly excited about the movie. Who wouldn’t be? Who wouldn’t want the best series in the universe to travel to the big screen? I was looking forward to it. I liked the idea. And they could probably get good actors for Edward, Bella, and Jacob…because they’d be concentrating on those three. But what about the other Cullens? How could they cast Emmett? Carlisle? Rosalie? Jasper? Alice? It wouldn’t work. Especially not Jasper and Alice – everything about them is through their eyes and their emotions, even though Alice does talk a lot. They’re a very emotional couple, and it’s almost impossible to find a pair with that kind of charisma. I gave up hope – almost. And then I saw that Jackson Rathbone was cast as Jasper, and Ashley Greene as Alice. My jaw dropped as I stared at pictures of the two. It couldn’t be…they couldn’t be so perfect. So utterly, inconceivably perfect. And yet they were. I shook my head, gathering my thoughts. No, I told myself. You’ll just be disappointed.
A few weeks later, the first interview. Alice and Jasper – I mean, Ashley and Jackson – were sitting by each other, Ashley chattering away, Jackson just looking at her with a small smile on his lips. And that was the moment when I dropped all idiotic ideas of the movie not being good. I let all my doubts, worries, and fears fly out the window the moment I saw that connection between them – and between them and their potential audience. They were perfect. Ashley, Jackson – you two are perfect. Hugs and kisses!!

Emotional (a poem)
Jasper’s past is filled with hurt:
Anger, hatred painA pixie girl with short black hair
Made him feel again
He had thought that everything
About his life was over
Until they met and soon enough
They were each other’s lovers
Alice was a psychic
And a little bit hyper
Jasper had scars all up his arm
Like he’d been bitten by a viper
Both had their pasts, both had their dreams
The thing that they both shared
Was the love for one another
And that they truly cared
They’re both so emotional
So beyond description
You can see a sign by them,
Marked with this inscription:
Jasper Whitlock, U.S. Soldier
Veteran, empath, vampire
Former member of mythical army
With the leaders he conspired
Alice the young psychic girl
Was in a cold asylum
She knew that there was someone for her –
She only had to find them
When they found each other
They didn’t have to think
To know they’d be together
Or they’d become extinct
They’re perfect for each other
Like Jackson and Ashley
For the perfect movie Twilight
You two are extremely key
I hope you thought this poem
Didn’t take up too much time
It’s really hard to say this all
When you have to rhyme
